從老杜漫談獲悉，5月12日消息，中國汽車品牌在印度尼西亞迅速擴張，根據印度尼西亞汽車工業協會（Gaikindo）的資料，2025年第一季度汽車銷量同比增長153%——儘管整體市場下降了近5%。中國汽車製造商在1月至3月期間銷售了20,672輛汽車，較去年同期的8,148輛有所增長。相比之下，全國汽車銷量下降了4.7%，從215,160輛降至205,160輛。中國品牌現在佔據了印尼汽車市場的10%，較一年前的3.83%大幅增長。

According to Lao Du Man Tan, May 12: Chinese automotive brands are rapidly expanding in Indonesia. Data from Gaikindo shows that auto sales in Q1 2025 surged 153% year-on-year, despite an overall market decline of nearly 5%. Chinese automakers sold 20,672 vehicles from January to March, up from 8,148 units in the same period last year. Meanwhile, national auto sales fell by 4.7%, dropping from 215,160 to 205,160 units. Chinese brands now hold a 10% market share in Indonesia, a significant increase from 3.83% a year ago.

According to Indonesian Life Link, recent reports suggest Singapore-based Grab—a U.S.-listed ride-hailing and food delivery platform—is seeking to finalize an agreement to acquire Indonesian rival GoTo in Q2 2025, with a transaction valuation of up to $7 billion. The deal is said to involve Grab taking over GoTo’s international operations in Singapore and all non-financial services in Indonesia. Grab has hired advisors to advance the plan and is negotiating financing with banks. Grab declined to comment, while GoTo stated via the Indonesia Stock Exchange on May 8 that no decisions have been made regarding potential proposals. The talks remain ongoing, with terms still subject to change.

Wholesale sales totaled 205,160 units from January to March, down 4.7% year-on-year, while retail sales fell 8.9% to 210,483 units. The Low-Cost Green Car (LCGC) market was also hit, with March sales dropping 38% year-on-year to 12,726 units, down 7% month-on-month from February’s 13,618 units. The Daihatsu Sigra led LCGC sales with 4,309 units, up over 30% month-on-month, while Honda Brio Satya sales fell 22.96% to 3,679 units. Other popular LCGC models included Toyota Calya (2,639 units), Daihatsu Ayla (1,166 units), and Toyota Agya (933 units). The decline reflects dual pressures of reduced purchasing power and weakening demand in Indonesia’s auto market.

從下一站越南獲悉，5月12日消息，據越南統計總局最新發佈的報告顯示，4月份，越南市場新增汽車（包括國產汽車和進口汽車）約56563輛，較3月份（53960輛）增長約4.8%。其中，4月份越南國產組裝汽車產量預計為3.95萬輛，環比3月份（3.81萬輛）增長3.7%，環比2024年4月增長60.0%，是2025年前4個月新車產量最高的月份。總體來看，從2025年初至今，越南國內汽車廠商累計產量預計為14.73萬輛，比2024年同期增長76.9%。這是一個非常高的產量。

According to Next Stop Vietnam, May 12: Vietnam’s General Statistics Office reported that April’s new auto supply (including domestic and imported vehicles) reached 56,563 units, up 4.8% from March’s 53,960 units. Domestic assembly output hit 39,500 units in April, rising 3.7% month-on-month and 60% year-on-year from April 2024, marking the highest monthly production in the first four months of 2025. Cumulative domestic production from January to April is estimated at 147,300 units, a 76.9% year-on-year surge, reflecting exceptionally high output.
