人工智慧技術廣泛使用引發的“裁員潮”已經蔓延到了金融行業。渣打銀行5月19日宣佈，到2030年計畫將公司職能部門崗位減少15%以上。裁員將主要集中於人力資源、風險、合規、營運、技術支援及其他後台職能部門，涉及近8000個工作崗位。
此次大規模的人員結構調整，核心驅動力是AI與自動化技術的加速應用，其目標並非傳統的成本削減，而是在部分領域“用投入的金融資本和投資資本，替代價值較低的人力資本”。渣打銀行在聲明中表示，公司下一階段增長將得益於更簡潔、快捷、互聯的營運模式。渣打集團行政總裁比爾·溫特斯在聲明中說，渣打銀行正加碼核心能力建設，不斷鞏固競爭優勢，推動業務可持續增長並實現長期高品質收益。
隨著人工智慧技術進步並在金融領域廣泛使用，一些金融機構近期相繼宣佈裁員。此前，新加坡星展銀行宣佈未來3年將裁員近4000人。匯豐銀行也在考慮一項可能影響約2萬個崗位的AI驅動重組計畫。日本三大銀行之一的瑞穗金融集團計畫在未來10年內，通過投資AI提高效率，將目前約1.5萬個事務崗位削減最多5000個。在競爭加劇的背景下，人工智慧能大幅提升效率、降低成本，對於跨國銀行而言，對AI和自動化的大規模投資，已經成為實現長期高品質收益的必要舉措。

當地時間5月19日，義大利自動化解決方案提供商柯馬宣佈，已通過簽署具有約束力的協議，收購巴西內部物流與倉儲自動化解決方案公司 Invent Smart Intralogistics Solutions（Invent）的全部股權。
On May 19 local time, Italian automation solutions provider Comau announced that it has signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of Invent, a Brazil-based company specializing in intralogistics and warehouse automation solutions.
此次針對 Invent 的收購協議標誌著柯馬國際化擴張戰略及增長計畫又邁出了重要一步，旨在通過整合互補性的技術與專業能力，持續拓展公司的核心能力。
The binding agreement to acquire Invent represents a further step in Comau’s international expansion strategy and growth plan, which focuses on expanding competencies through the integration of complementary technologies and expertise.
柯馬方面表示，此次收購將擴展其全球業務，強化其在拉丁美洲及美國中端內部物流市場的業務佈局。此次能力拓展也有望進一步豐富柯馬的全球自動化生態體系，為包括中國在內的市場提供更加完整的一體化自動化解決方案。
Comau stated that the acquisition will extend Comau's global operations, with an enhanced business footprint in Latin America and in the U.S. mid-market intralogistics segment. The capability expansion is also expected to further enhance Comau’s global automation ecosystem, enabling the company to offer a more comprehensive range of integrated automation solutions across markets, including China.

According to foreign media reports, Singapore has inked separate agreements with Alphabet's Google and OpenAI to strengthen its position as a global artificial intelligence hub and accelerate AI deployment across public services, healthcare, education and enterprise.
根據協議，OpenAI承諾投資3億新加坡元（約合2.34億美元），並在新加坡建立其在美國本土以外的首個“應用人工智慧實驗室”。
According to the agreement, OpenAI committed 300 million Singapore dollars ($234 million) and launched its “Applied AI Lab” - the first such lab established outside the U.S. - in Singapore.
